&Matt Parkman; was a cop. An LAPD beatcop who loved his job and genuinely wanted to do good work for the city he lived in. He went to the academy, married a successful attorney, and expected a full and rewarding career. He was just a normal guy. He liked ice cream and Pizza. He probably ate too many donuts. He watched football with the guys from his squad, and attended his partner's wedding. He contemplated getting a dog, and he and his wife worked together to try and start a family. But there are always problems. Matt's career suffered. He failed the promotion exam three times. He was stuck in dead-end assignments, working crowd control for events, moonlighting as a security guard on Fridays to prevent kids from sneaking into R-Rated movies. His marriage started to spiral downward. He and Janice would fight constantly. His life, his perfect life, was apparently going nowhere. Nothing could make it any worse. Matt Parkman is a character from NBC's newest fall TV series Heroes, which I sincerely hope will be able to keep up with LOST. He is a normal human who, like numerous other individuals in his timeline, woke up one morning with an extraordinary power. In this case, Matt hears people's thoughts. We don't know if the ability will go any farther that, but in this case-he's a brand new Telepath who cannot tune the voices out.. Poor guy. |

(Wait for the trailer and the episodes. 8D) He is completely spoiler free unless you'd like to be spoiled. He can read thoughts, but after some help from ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} courtneycrumin and some advice from shard_bishop, and Reilly (AKA Darkdevil) he's starting to get a handle on the fact that yes-he is essentially a mutant. And his world is changing.milliways_bar Matt'll probably arrive soon into his canon, and work through it. Ideally he'd like to have the whole team (including Hiro, Mohinder, Claire, Nicki, and the rest) along with whatever villians they have. These guys are made for milliways. XDD.This character isn't mine. He belongs to NBC's Heroes. I don't own Greg Grunberg either, the dude belongs to himself yo. For dear_multiverse and milliways_bar from which no profit is being made. :D |
